Warranty Policy — Central Home Appliances

At Central Home Appliances, every item is tested for functionality before sale. Our store warranty protects you against manufacturing faults and functional issues during the coverage period below.

Coverage by Product Type

  • Refurbished Items: 3-month store warranty from purchase date

  • Factory Seconds: 6-month store warranty from purchase date

  • Carton-Damaged / Customer Returns: 6-month store warranty from purchase date

Definitions

  • Refurbished: Pre-owned or returned items restored, cleaned, and tested for full functionality; may show minor cosmetic wear.

  • Factory Seconds: Fully functional items with cosmetic imperfections, ex-display, or minor packaging/finish defects.

  • Carton-Damaged / Customer Returns: Packaging damage and/or opened-box returns; product is tested to be fully functional.

What the Warranty Includes

  • Repair or replacement of parts/products due to manufacturing defects or functional faults

  • If repair/replacement isn’t reasonably possible, we may offer a like-for-like alternative or store credit

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Cosmetic flaws that don’t affect performance (scratches, dents, scuffs)

  • Damage from misuse, incorrect installation, power surges, liquid ingress, pests, or commercial use (unless stated)

  • Normal wear and tear, consumables and accessories (filters, shelves, bulbs, hoses, batteries, remote controls, etc.)

  • Issues caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications

  • Failure to follow the manufacturer’s/installer’s instructions, ventilation or clearance requirements

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  2. Share your order number, purchase date, model, and a brief description (photos/videos help).

  3. We’ll assess and advise the next step (troubleshooting, inspection, repair, replacement, or store credit).

Service & Logistics

  • Inspections/repairs are coordinated by Central Home Appliances or our authorised service partners.

  • Where collection/return is required, a call-out or transport fee may apply outside our standard service zones; we’ll confirm costs (if any) before proceeding.

Replacement & Warranty Periods

  • If we replace your product, the original warranty period continues from the original purchase date (it doesn’t reset).

Your Rights

This warranty is provided by Central Home Appliances and does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
